Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices for the Skyglide mobile application ("App"). The App is rated 4+ and intended for general audiences.

  1. Information We Collect

    • No Personal Identification: The App does not require accounts, logins, or collect personal information such as names, emails, or device identifiers.

    • Waypoint Data: Waypoints and locations entered for video generation are stored temporarily in memory and permanently deleted when the App is closed. No location services (GPS) are used.

    • Purchase Data: In-app purchases are processed by Apple and RevenueCat (for anonymous transaction management and statistics). We receive limited, anonymized data for operational purposes only. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

    • Third-Party Mapping: The App uses Apple Maps services. Apple may collect limited usage data per its policies: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

    • No Advertising: We do not use third-party advertising.

  2. How We Use Information
    Temporary waypoint data is used solely to generate videos via Apple Maps services. Anonymized purchase data is used to manage tokens and internal statistics.

  3. Sharing of Information
    We do not share your data except:

    • With RevenueCat and Apple as necessary for purchases and mapping services.

    • As required by law.

  4. Data Retention and Deletion
    Waypoint data is automatically deleted when the App closes. Purchase records are retained only as required for App Store compliance.

  5. Your Rights (GDPR and Other Laws)
    Since we collect no personal data, rights such as access, rectification, or deletion generally do not apply. For purchase-related queries, contact Apple. EU residents may contact us for any concerns.

  6. International Data Transfers
    Data processing may involve transfers to the United States (via Apple/RevenueCat) under appropriate safeguards.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Skyglide mobile application ("App"), operated by the independent developer of Skyglide ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

  1. Description of Service 
    Skyglide allows users to generate Flyover-style videos based on user-defined waypoints using Apple Maps Flyover and satellite imagery. The App provides a preview feature, but generated videos may technically differ from previews. Videos may contain missing areas due to poor internet connection, device limitations, or issues with third-party mapping services.

  2. Tokens and In-App Purchases

    • Video generation consumes one (1) token per successful generation. tokens are deducted only upon successful completion.

    • New users receive two (2) free tokens.

    • Additional tokens are available via consumable in-app purchases through Apple’s App Store, managed via RevenueCat for transaction processing and anonymous statistics.

    • Tokens are device-specific and not shared across devices, even on the same Apple ID.

    • All purchases and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple according to their terms.

    • Certain video export formats may be restricted on devices lacking technical capabilities.

  3. Third-Party Services 
    The App uses Apple Maps services (including Flyover and satellite views) provided by Apple Inc. Your use of these features is subject to Apple’s Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/maps/terms-en.html. Purchases are processed via RevenueCat. See RevenueCat’s terms: https://www.revenuecat.com/terms.

  4. Use of Generated Videos 
    Videos generated using the App incorporate content and data from Apple Maps services (including Flyover and satellite imagery). Your use, sharing, distribution, or any other exploitation of generated videos is strictly subject to Apple’s Terms of Use for Maps services (available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/maps/terms-en.html) and all applicable laws. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any use of generated videos complies with Apple’s restrictions, which may prohibit (among other things) commercial use, redistribution, creation of derivative works, broadcast on television or mass media, or any sublicensing without Apple’s prior written permission. We do not grant, and do not represent that you have, any additional rights to Apple Maps content beyond those provided directly by Apple.

  5. User Responsibilities 
    You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in unbedingt your country) to use the App. You are responsible for your use of the App and any content you generate or share.

  6. Intellectual Property 
    The App and its original content (excluding user-generated videos) are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of your generated videos but grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process them for generation purposes.

  7. Disclaimers 
    THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT GENERATED VIDEOS WILL BE COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR ERROR-FREE DUE TO TECHNICAL LIMITATIONS, NETWORK ISSUES, DEVICE CAPABILITIES, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES.

  8. Limitation of Liability 
    To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

  9. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of changes. The latest version is available here.
